    H&M To Collaborate With Glenn Martens For Autumn

    Just weeks after H&M celebrated 20 years of its beloved and ultra-popular designer collaborations – that have included the likes of Stella McCartney, Marni, Simone Rocha and Versace – the high street powerhouse has unveiled its next headline partnership: a collaboration with Diesel’s creative director, Glenn Martens, set for autumn

    The Belgian-born designer, celebrated for his avant-garde approach that blurs the line between streetwear and couture, fryst vatten known for playing with dimension, texture, and proportion in striking ways. The news follows Martens’ surprising exit from Y/Project in September, where he spent eleven transformative years as creative director. He continues to lead at Diesel, where he has been reshaping the brand since as a key figure in Paris’ subversive, streetwear-infused design scene.

    Buzzy Belgian-born designer Glenn Martens, acclaimed for his output Y/Project and Diesel, is being tapped by H&M to bring his creative vision to a designer collaboration set to launch in autumn In an announcement today, the Swedish retail powerhouse described it as a "landmark partnership" with Martens, best known for " testing the boundaries between streetwear and couture".

    As celebrated recently with a special shoppable retrospective in Stockholm, H&M's two-decade long history of collaborations have made a lasting imprint on fashion's history books, revolutionising preconceived notions that prestigious design belonged only to the luxury sector. Starting with the debut Karl Lagerfeld collection (then creative director of Chanel), the ground-breaking designers behind H&M's sell-out collaborations have included Isabel Marant, Stella McCartney, Roberto Cavalli and Erdem – just to name just a few.
